WHAT IS THE EVENT?

Uptown Festival returns to London’s Blackheath on Sunday 27th July 2025

2025 will bring back your favourite festival entertainment with another incredible lineup packed with legendary bands. The Little Town area will feature stage takeovers, nonstop fun, and rides for the little ones. Across the site, you'll find plenty of entertainment, delicious local food and drinks, and one of the most comfortable and exclusive VIP areas we've ever seen.

We’ll be releasing our 2025 lineup soon, and it is going to be legendary as usual. The big top arena will be back, offering a different musical experience for those looking for a genre change, along with the Little Town area, your kids’ absolute favourite.

What are the timings?

Doors open from 13:00, with last entry at 6pm, unless you purchased an early entry ticket which will be labelled accordingly and you should enter no later than 2:30pm, otherwise you'll have to pay a fee. It will all be finished by 10.30pm.

Where is the event taking place?

The event will be taking place at Blackheath Common, Shooters Hill Road, London, SE3 7AS.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKETS?

Tickets will be released as e-tickets one week prior to the event.

WHAT’S YOUR REFUND POLICY?

Tickets are non-refundable.

This is an all-ages event.

WILL THERE BE CAMPING?

No, this is not a camping event.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

We recommend using public transport to get to Blackheath:

By National Rail - The nearest rail stations are Lewisham (8 minute walk) Blackheath (10 minute walk) and Greenwich (20 minute walk). Westcombe Park and Deptford stations are close to us as well.

By DLR - The nearest DLR stations are: Lewisham (8 min walk) Elverson Road (19 min walk) Deptford Bridge (20 min walk) and Cutty Sark (22 min walk)

By Bus – The following bus routes pass close by Uptown - 53, 54, 89, 108, 202, 386 and 380.

By Tube - The nearest tube stop is North Greenwich. From here take the No 108 bus to Blackheath and it’s then a 10-minute walk to Uptown.

By Boat - Yes you can get to us by boat! Thames Clippers, who run regular boat services along the river, stop regularly at Greenwich, and a 25 minute walk to Uptown.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD/DRINKS?

Due to security reasons, no food or drink can be brought into the site. Free tap water will be available at all bars and there will be lots of drink and food options on site.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS?

We actively encourage photograph taking, but no selfie sticks will be allowed on site!

Plus, professional camera equipment and professional cameras with a detachable zoom lens are not permitted.

WHAT IF I HAVE A PROBLEM DURING THE EVENT?

There will be two help desks in place; one inside and one outside the event site if you have any problems or issues on the day.

WHEN DO I HAVE TO GET THERE BY?

Last entry is 6pm, unless specified on your ticket.

WILL I BE SEARCHED ON ENTRY AND CAN I BRING IN A BAG?

Full searches and metal detection will be in operation on the day, this is a condition of entry.

To help you get through security as quickly as possible please do not bring a bag larger than an A4 sheet of paper. If you need further clarification, please contact info@thefestivalcrowd.com.

For those with babies exceptions are made for changing bags and buggies.

WHAT ITEMS ARE RESTRICTED? CAN I BRING perfume, aerosols or vapes?

No aerosols, perfumes, vapes, drugs, weapons or illegal substances are permitted on the site.

Strictly no glass (including perfume or cosmetic bottles) can be brought into the event.

WILL THERE BE CASH MACHINES ON SITE?

No, there will be no cash machines available on site.

CAN I COME IN AND OUT OF THE EVENT?

There is no readmission. Once you’re in, if you leave you will not be allowed back into the event.

Are dogs allowed at the Festival?

Dogs are not generally allowed at the festival but we welcome both guide dogs and assistance dogs.

Will you have lockers and phone chargers available?

Yes, we have lockers and phone chargers available; as you enter the site, mobile phone chargers and lockers are next to the merchandise and info point.

Will the event be taking cash or card?

Bars and Vendors will be accepting both cash and card.

Unfortunately, there will be no ATMs onsite and there will be no cashback facilities available, therefore if you are wishing to pay using cash it is advised that you withdraw money on the way to the event.

Can we bring in baby food?

Baby food is permitted but it cannot be in glass jars. please put all baby food in a clear ziploc type bag (airportstyle).

Can we bring umbrellas?

Yes umbrellas are allowed into Uptown

CAN I BRING IN CHAIRS?

Chairs are not allowed to be bought into the festival, you can however bring in blankets or lay bags.

What tickets are classed as children tickets?

Babies are under 1 and children tickets are aged 1 - 17

Can I leave the Festival to drop my children off and come back?

There will be a child pick up point at the entrance to the festival which will be in operation from 6pm - 8pm, there is no re-admission so this will be just at the perimeter of the festival.

For the safety of the children this will be in place when the main entry lanes close.

What do the Tiers or Phases mean?

Tier 1 or Phase 1 is the lowest price and is for those who buy tickets first. Tier two or Phase 2 is the next release and are slightly more expensive and so on until all tickets are sold.
